Comment of Kick Andy Show, which is this article title, is the theme of that show.
Again, for me, Kick Andy Show (KAS) raise my spirit, motivation and inspiration in business field. Andy F Noya as host and producer, is so smart and brilliant, He able to explore an inspiring story, which is maybe use for the audience. At Thursday, 27 March 2008, KAS present a theme about entrepreneurship; the title is From Zero to Hero.
The first is story about Tela-Tela Franchise. This is important point of the discussion:
1. Establish by four young men, they have strong friendship, one of them is master of management, one again is degree of physic and the other is degree from economic, they come from Yogyakarta.
2. It is belong to snack business, made from cassava. They mean this product as a counter for french fries product. Their target is to change the habit, which French fries is commonly consume as a snack. Whereas, French fries is importing culture from western, and we rich of cassava, which is plant and consume hereditary.
3. Start two years ago with eight million rupiah as a starting capital.
4. Now, have more than 1.000 franchise outlet, which is spreading from Aceh until Papua. In each month, the selling is about one billion until two billion.
5. They can manage and still exist, where the competitor from the other brand is establishing, but no longer existing. They have obvious view and well management to expanding this business.
Second, there is story about Ouval Research; there is important point, which can learn:
- M Rizky Setyawan, start his business with Rp. 200.000 with two friends. Designing, producing and then selling the any product of skateboard stuff in Bandung, West Java.
- Now, this brand has spread in Indonesia in 100-distributor outlet. And record one million in selling every month.
Third, is about PT. NCS (NCS enterprise)
- Budianto and Reni Sitawati Siregar, the couple of wife-husband, establish a courier business.
- Prior to entrepreneur, Budianto is an employee at one company in Jakarta. He feel restless become an employee, because the salary is too less for him. He feel impossible to buy his own house and car if he become eternal employee.
- At the first time, he didn’t know,what kind of business must be established. And finally, he knew, courier service business is potential for him to explore.
- Having 3.000 employee now, the network is spreading from Aceh until Jayapura, giving turnover at least 9 billion a month.
The last is story about Mrs. Susi Pujiastuti, and there is the fact about her:
- Drop out from SMU 1 Yogyakarta at second level, and then come back to her home town in Pangandaran.
- Starting business in fisheries, and distributing her product using a truck. She and her driver, go around to sell her product.
- Think to using an aircraft to distribute her product, because the market is broaden.And she realize that.
- Until now, she have 14 aircraft (Cessna, made in Singapore) , and starting to business air transportation with her aircrafts.
- After starting aircraft business with brand is Susi Air, she open the civil aviation academy.
All of the guest story at KAS is motivating me to explore my capability in business. becoming an entrepreneur is exciting. But, you know, maybe it is happen with a lot of my friend in business administration college, a place where i study to get degree. My parents is hoping that i must be an employee at big companies, and i still confuse with my next step after a get my degree.
Apply to big company or be entrepreneur?.

kalau menurutku sih jalanin aja dulu apa yang ada di depan mata,
gak perlu harus memilih salah satu dari awal. kalau emang udah ada tawaran kerja, ambil aja, sambil tetep ngembangin bisnisnya. gak ada ruginya kok. malah bisa buat nambah2 modal bisnis kan. nanti kalau bisnis kita udah mapan, baru deh kita lepas tuh kerjaan. hehehe itu pendapat aku aja sih, dan itu juga yg sedang aku jalanin sekarang
